Best MCR fanfiction ever! And they’re ducks! And White Bread is a metaphor for drugs and they’re all adorable and I’m laughing my face off!

Just remember it isn’t wrong to want to swim backwards! “

It’s okay to swim forwards too, you know.”

Mikey sometimes swam sideways, just because.

“”Quack,” Gerard said, for want of something better to say.”

“We can’t all conform to the same directional impulses. What sort of lake would that be?”

Seriously! Just go read now! It’s hilarious and adorable ^^

Anonymous asked: Well hey there shiny baby! Name's Deante, Agent Winter Snow. Mind if I swing by, gettin' a bit lonely out in this sand.

Sure thing rocknrolla! Stop by anytime. I’m in Zone 3 right now, just east of the border. See you soon

The Lady of the Zones

On either side of Route Guano lie
Long stretches of desert harsh and dry,
That clothe the world and meet the sky;
And through the sand the road runs by
To many-tower’d Battery;
And up and down the blindos go,
Gazing where the leaflets blow
Down the dark ally there below,
The Lady who sings out.

Only cleaners, cleaning early,
Down amongst the empty city
Hear a song that echoes cheerly
From the street that winds so clearly;
Down to structured tower home;
And by the moon a cleaner weary,
Sweeps the streets he “loves” so dearly
Listening, whispers, ” ‘Tis the fearless
Lady who sings out.

There she sings by night and day
A magic song that breaks the gray
And quiet, soft serenity
Of the city where she’s cursed to stay,
Until her very dying day
She knows not what the price may be,
To leave her home and family
And so she sings out steadily,
The Lady who sings out.

And watching through a vidscreen clear,
That hangs before her all the year,
Shadows of the world appear.
There she sees the highway near
And dreams of colour without fear
Winding down to desert roads;
Where rainbow clothéd killjoys roam
And ancient metal dust cars groan
And the white uniforms of Draculoid drones
Pass onward from BC.

But in her song she still delights
To stretch her voice to dizzy heights
For often through the silent nights
A battle strikes with guns and lights
And music, spreads across the sand;
Or when the Moon was overhead,
She could not help but raise her head
and heart and voice to sing as well
“I am half sick of shadows,” said
The Lady who sang out.

A gun-shot from the Zones below,
A killjoy chaséd by S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W
The sun reflected as he drove
Across the sand to move and go.
The girl sat waiting, watching, scared.
A red-haired knight forever chasing
Colour as his car goes racing
To travel the zones, death he’s facing.
The man who did escape.

His colours shone, in sunlight glow’d;
From underneath his helmet flow’d
His blood-red curls as on he rode,
His bravery and daring showed
As he drove down to Battery.
From the road and from the tower
The news that flashed upon the hour
Showed his face, proclaimed him sour.
The man who did come back.

She left the window, left the screens,
She unlocked the door, escaped the clean
Cell that imprisoned all her dreams
She ran down to the street and screamed,
The car pulled up outside her home.
Out sounded the siren deep and wide;
The glass had smashed from side to side;
“Those pigs are after us” he cried
The man who rescued her.

And down the road’s lighted expanse
Being without pill-enforced trance,
So glad that she took her chance,
Welcomed the desert, clapped her hands
She did not look back whence she’d come.
And at the closing of the day
She loosened the seatbelt, and down she lay;
The driver stole her far away,
The Lady who was free.

She awoke to singing loud and holy
Chanted loudly, chanted lowly,
She learned the words and started slowly
Singing out with her heart wholly,
With the voice from the radio
The driver smiled and turned the volume
In the back her painted costume
Waited for her and she was home
The Lady of the zones.
